Ingredients
For Spinach Puree:
- 4 cups fresh spinach leaves washed and drained
- 1 green chili optional
For Gravy:
- 2 tablespoon ghee or oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes pureed
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- 200 grams paneer cubed
Instructions
Prepare Spinach Puree:
- Blanch 4 cups fresh spinach leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes. Transfer to ice-cold water and blend with 1 green chili to a smooth puree.
Prepare Gravy:
- Heat 2 tablespoon ghee or oil in a pan. Add 1 onion and sauté until golden. Stir in 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste and 2 tomatoes. Cook until oil separates.
- Add 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir in the spinach puree and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add Paneer and Serve:
- Add 200 grams paneer to the gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
